Here you'll find all the practical information you need to prepare your visit to the château de Haroué.

Opening hours

From 4 November to 19 December
The castle is open to groups by reservation only.

Reservations must be made at least one week before the date of the visit.

From 20 December to 30 December 
10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Guided tour times : Weekdays and weekends: 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Closed on Mondays 22 and 29 December, 24, 25, 26 and 31 December, and 1 and 2 January

Château de Haroué is located in the heart of the village of Haroué.
Parking is available in front of the château.

Services and visiting conditions

  • Suitcases and large bags are not permitted. Small bags (smaller than cabin size) are permitted.
  • Flash photography is prohibited.
  • Pets are not allowed.
  • Bicycles are forbidden.
  • Eating is forbidden in the monument.
  • Smoking is banned throughout the site, both inside and outside the monument.
    Pursuant to decree no. 2025-582 of 27 June 2025 on smoke-free areas, collective outdoor areas where children and teenagers may be present or exposed, in particular public parks and gardens, become smoke-free areas.
